Never procrastinate: Alijan Dilwash

“Never put off till tomorrow what may be done day after tomorrow just as well.”

Procrastination is a state of mind to delay a task that may be done earlier but chooses it to do it in last minutes. Procrastination is the thief of time that takes the beauty of a work. According to American Heritage Dictionary of the English, procrastination is to put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness; to postpone or delay needlessly.

Procrastination is the result of negative emotions and thoughts linked with a particular work. It is the bunch of worries and sorrows that prevents one from doing a right thing on right time. It is one of the problematic issues being faced in the lives of every individual and that can be the biggest reason of one’s failure. It is a kinda behavior that exists in almost every aspect in our daily lives.

“Time is an equal opportunity employer. Each human being has exactly the same number of hours and minutes everyday. Rich people cannot buy more hours. Scientists cannot invent new minutes. And you cannot save time to spend it on another day. Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving. No matter how many much time you have wasted in the past, you still have entire tomorrow.”

Time never waits for anybody. It is an important aspect of one’s life. It decides your future and you are the one to change your fate by respecting every single minute of your day. Time respects you when you know its importance.

Procrastination is one of the biggest problems in an individual’s life that brings worries, sorrows and resentments to make someone in difficult circumstances. It has very negative impacts and will increase the chances of failure. We often observe, hundreds of people giving up and cannot hold patience to face life’s challenges due to lack of self-management and procrastinating. Life begins when you stop procrastinating and believe that every thing is possible unless you are ready.

Therefore, procrastination is the main root cause of one’s failure. It takes the taste and hidden beauty of a work. You will have more worries, sorrows and difficulties when you procrastinate because it will create more burdens in place of solving them.
